Data Science Education – A Scoping Review

Aim/Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the extant research on data science education (DSE) identify existing gaps, opportunities, and challenges, make recommendations for current future DSE. Background: There has been an increase in number of programs especially because increased appreciation as a multidisciplinary strategic resource. resulted greater need skills extract meaningful insights from data. Methodology: A scoping review was adopted period 2010–2021 using six scholarly databases: Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, ScienceDirect, Scopus, AIS Basket eight journals.
